On Saturday, me and Wanjiru went the very ritzy La Encanta shopping area. It the same place i went for my b-day. Along w/fancy restaurants, there's very nice shopping stores. Most of them consisting of very expensive stores. There was the Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Talbots, William Sonoma, Tiffany and Co., Louis Viauntti, etc. We even saw this one place called Muttopia. It one of those stores for people who pamper their animals as if they were real people. They had expensive diamond studded collars, toys, snacks, clothes, beds, etc. All of the clothes stores had such high prices i wouldn't really shop there. But i did find a few things i plan on going back for that weren't too expensive.

For Super Bowl Sunday, wanjiru and i were invited to the UA football stadium to watch the game w/the rich and very rich. Wanjiru's brother-in-law works for a very big computer company, that threw the party. It was his boss that catered it. He always rents out the President's Box in the football stadium for his friends and family w/catered food (all you can eat) and all the beer you could want. There was at least 100+ people there. There was the typical type of superbowl food hotdogs, pizza, chips, chili, dessert, fresh food, etc. You could either sit inside and watch the game on the flatscreen tv's or could watch the game out on the patio on the tvs there. The weather was great this weekend, it was mid 70s, so it perfect weather to be outside.

Mid 70's!? And I am thankful for the mid 40's today.
Get ready--if we have one more hundred-years ice storm (we've had 2 in the last 6 years) I'm moving to Arizona!
Love you, Mom
