4th of July

i know the 4th was a few weeks ago, but i forgot i didn't post any pictures of what i did on that day. Since i don't net at my apt, i always have to find time to go use it somewhere. After you work a 12hr day you, just wanna go home after work. On the 4th, all of us new trainers went over our friend Ethan's house. He's the only trainer that has a house, and grill to use. So we just had a cookout there, brought our own meat, then had the rest of the cookout food you usually have. Of you course you know me, since i love to cook i had to make a dessert. So i a festive cake for the cookout.It was a lot of fun, all of us trainers never have much time to just all hang out due to our schedules. The guy w/the glasses is Elliot, he moved here from Louisiana about 1 month ago. The other guy is Ethan. He's originally from Columbia, South American, then was adopted by Americans. He grew up in New York, then later moved to Tucson. The girl is Wanjiru, she's from Kenya. She is the main person from work i hang w/a lot outside of work. The blonde headed girl is Erica, that's Ethan's girlfriend, she doesn't work w/us. Ethan has an iguana as a pet, and i just had to take a picture of it. Not that i've never seen one before, but i don't think i've seen one up close before, and definitely never seen a cage that big. The iguana doesn''t really do anything except just stare, so don't think he's be the most exciting pet. We had the cookout on Ethan's back porch, was great weather for it. Then once it got dark, we just went to the top of his roof and we could see fireworks from two different directions going on. All of houses here have flat roofs instead of the steep ones, so it's no problem to get to the top. It later started to rain so we finally got down, and just stayed underneath the porch, while it rained. The rain cooled the temperature a lot, so it felt even better to be outside. The fireworks weren't anything amazing, just like any other fireworks, but was fun just to hang out w/friends from work.
