"Best" week ever in AZ

The week of thanksgiving was the "Best" week i've had since i've been in Arizona. I got to see people i really love and miss, a day off work, then plus a weekend off of work. The weekend before thanksgiving mom came for the weekend, we had a good time. we just went shopping, talked, hung out etc. My parents hadn't seen my new place since i have moved into it, so i was excited about them seeing it. It was so good to see her, wish dad could've been here too.

Below: After my mom left on Monday, i had a surprise guest at my door on Monday evening. After i got home from work, i was talking to Wally on the phone, and had a strange knock at the door, assuming it was one of my friends. Well, to much of my surprise and still can't believe it sometimes, it was my boyfriend Wally. He had flown out here to surprise me, i wasn't even expecting him, i wasn't going to see him until i came home for Xmas. I just stood there in shock thinking it was a dream when looking at him. Now i know i can't ever accuse him of not ever being good at surprises. Since i hadn't seen him since i moved, it was soo good to see him. This was his first time to Arizona. We would just stay up late and hang out when i wasn't working.

Oh yeah the next best thing about my thanksgiving week was that i had day off of work. Thanksgiving day was like Halloween for me this year. I went house to house for meals. It was nice. wally had to head back home the afternoon of thanksgiving day. Then once he was gone i just relaxed at my place till 4, that was Thanksgiving dinner #1 for me. i spent it w/Craig and Noel (the family i met when i first moved here) and some of their close friends. After getting full there, i waited a few hours later and went to Thanksgiving #2 at 7:30. One of my clients at work had invited a while back. She was one of my first new clients i had gotten had work, she was one of my favorites. At dinner it was her, her daughter and her son-in-law. Both her daughter and son-in-law are chefs so the food and dessert were pretty good. So my thanksgiving was good, i wasn't alone. I really did missing w/all my family back on Thanksgiving. I didn't really realize how much i missed it till i knew i couldn't be there. I didn't stay out too late, cuz i did have to work the next day, but i was all good cuz i done w/work by 1pm plus i didn't have to work on the weekend. That never happens either. So my weekend was pure heaven for me, i didn't want it to end.
