Cali, Here We Come!!
I had just one one of the best weekends ever. Me and my friend Elliot went to L.A. California this weekend. Is only about 7hrs from Tucson. We left Friday evening and got back late Sunday evening. We got free tickets to go the Univ of Ariz vs USC game. His sister lives in Claremont, city just outside of L.A. We stayed w/her and her husband. The game is in southern Cali, just a little ways past L.A. We saw a few UA fans there, all decked out in UA gear. I figured UA would've gotten killed by USC, they did last year, but not this year. UA barely lost to USC, was a good game. Sunday was the best day. Since i don't know when i'll be in Cali again, i wanted to do some site seeing. So me and Elliot went to Hollywood, Sunset Blvd, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, and downtown L.A. In Hollywood we went to the Kodak Theatre, which is where the world famous walk of fame stars are all at, Sunset and Rodeo Drive is where all the famous famous and rich people do their exclusive shopping and have their million dollar+ homes. On Rodeo drive we saw all the most expensive shopping stores you could imagine, the stores you read about or see on tv, but never really see.Unfornately we never got to see anyone famous though. The weather was perfect in Cali, 50s at night and 70s during the day. On our way back from Cali we had to pass through Palm Spings, CA, which is where you see just miles of gigantic windmills for powering energy. I've seen them on tv, but even more cool to see in person. Even though it was a quick weekend to Cali, it was so worth it!!

You and Elliot were true tourists! What a great way to spend a weekend away from work.
Love you
Yes, the windmills are something to see. We have seen them a couple of times in western Oklahoma. They are actually beautiful in their own way. Sounds as if you had a great time. Loved the pictures!
