Music and A Dinner Party

About a week or so ago, i helped my friend Claudia (used to be one of my clients at my last job), host a dinner party. She's also the lady i work for on the side during the weekend, for extra money. Her younger daughter plays the bassoon. She along w/the other students are taught some by very talented teachers. So for fun, they all get together, and have music and dinner party hosted by one of the parents of the children. The teachers will play some music sets, then the kids would play some music. Most of course was classical type music. The last time Claudia hosted a party she wasn't able to really enjoy it, because she was too busy cooking and being the host. So she had asked me if i do the cooking, serving, and clean up. It was really fun. I got to do it all, was able to let Claudia really enjoy the party, then best of all she paid me really good money to help her. Claudia lives up the Loew's Ventana Canyon, it's one of the really resorts in the Foothills. There's a beautiful golf course, gorgeous houses, great views of the mountains and great views of the resort area. Her house is absolutely gorgeous, it's a French type of design/theme inside. This is for Mom: you'd love her living room gigantic windows all around. So lots lots of sunlight can come in. There's another set of big windows, but you just can't see it in this picture below. So even though i was cooking or cleaning most of the time, it was really fun. I of course did get to each the wonderful food we had and socialize some.

Above: her kitchen is so pretty, too with a beautiful view of the resort area, she's redoing her entire kitchen this summer, so can't wait to see how prettier it's going to get. my favorite thing about her kitchen, she has four dishwashers!! Having that makes cleaning the kitchen so much quicker
