A Night Out

Ada finally came down to visit me this past weekend. Her birthday was a couple days ago, so we decided to celebrate it when she came down. For her birthday we went to the Riverwalk for dinner and for dessert we went to Tower of Americas for dessert. The Tower of Americas is known for being a very expensive restaurant; the coolest thing is that the tower literally rotates as your eating dinner. The cheapest meal we saw on the menu was $25, so we opted just to have dessert instead. It was a very classy restaurant w/ a beautiful view of the night sky and lights. Basically all the tables are sitting a slowly moving conveyor belt which is moving the whole time. As your sitting you can feel it, it was weird and cool at the same time. The waiter will tell you not to place any of your belongings to the left of you; because by the end of dinner you may not be in the same place. It was great experience, the dessert and drinks was great. I'd definitely like to go back , but in the day time so i can see the day view.

Above: For dinner we ate at the Rainforest Cafe on the Riverwalk. weather was perfect!!

Above: My camera is expensive enough to get great night pics, but you can see the tower pretty good. The red dots are the elevators going up the tower

Above: For those who know Ada, this a rare occasion to see her this dressed up. So i had get a pic of it. Seeing her this dressed up is like seeing a lunar eclipse, gotta catch it when it happens :)

Above: Not sure if you can tell, but this the Alamodome

Above: Me being the "NOT good girl", Grey Goose vodka w/cranberry juice. My favorite
vodka, one of best vodkas out there!!

Above: Ada being the "good girl" w/her non-alcoholic pina colada

Above: For dessert we had an apple/cherry crisp w/warm vanilla ice cream....HMMMM!! Beautiful and fancy presentation, if do say so myself

With those outfits you ladies could have hidden in the Rainforest forever. You were perfectly camouflaged.

Next time I'm there, we're going to the Tower for dessert! Surely they had something chocolate.

Love you!

Yes, I was going to say that we missed dessert when we were there this summer. Nice nighttime pictures, Katie!
